Private Colleges

Students in private colleges are being rorted every day. Especially international students.

In 2010 the National Union of Students will have its first conference for students in private colleges.

Students saw just how little private college providers care about their students when Stirling College in Sydney collapsed. Hundreds of students had no where to go and were literally locked out of the building!

The National Union of Students has had a legislative win – a new audit of dodgy private colleges that will mean that you get the quality education you paid for!

Unlike in universities where active student representative councils keep administrations honest, there are few representative structures within private colleges.

If you have a collective problem that effects many people you need to organise your campus and get active.
