6 years since the ban on same-sex marriage was introduced, and we're still not equal! And Julia Gillard, as the new Prime Minister, has disgracefully committed to maintaining this homopohobic ban! Enough is enough!
On Saturday August 14th, join protests around the country to mark the 6th anniversary of the ban on marriage equality for LGBTI people. It's just a week before the election - a great chance to send the politicians of both major parties a message that homophobic discrimination is not in line with community opinion. Tell them we won't shut up about this issue! Equal rights now!
